I did a lot of research before selecting a cruise line and ship. One of the things I've noticed reading reviews is that people who tend not to do that seem to be the ones writing bad reviews. My priorities were the following: High Quality Dining, good service, especially good facilities for just relaxing, a clean and well-maintained ship which was thoughtfully designed for both function and contemporary yet high class design.
Celebrity Eclipse did not disappoint.
Embarkation was a breeze, by the way. It was about 15 minutes from the time I got off the airport shuttle to the time I was boarding the ship. Concierge class did have a priority line with dedicated agents and there were only about 10 people in front of me. When the suites class line was empty, those agents helped people from the Concierge class line. One thing I noted is that aqua class had no line at all. I did not see one person check in at the aqua class line the whole time I was there.
