We recently returned for a 15 day cruise over the holidays on the Silversea Wind. We were very disappointed with all aspects of this cruise. The ship is old and in dire need of updating. Our air conditioning in the room did not work, the ceiling tiles in our suite creaked, groaned, and popped all night making it difficult to sleep, the toilet often would not flush, and the shower water would back up in the drain flooding the bathroom.

The food was fair, but not good. While some of the staff were excellent, others were inattentive and downright rude. The evening entertainment was limited.

Shore excursions were terrible and not vetted by the staff. No one on the ship seemed to know what to expect on the shore excursions and we were given inaccurate information. The "guides" were of poor quality, tour boats old and in poor repair, and the tour team often more in a hurry to get us out of there and back to the ship.
