This was our first river cruise and our first time going with Viking. We did not know what to expect. We have loved ocean cruises in the past but river cruising was a new adventure for us.

First off, river cruising is very relaxing. You all eat at the same time and leave for tours at the same time. You get to know others more easily.

Second, this cruise was very educational. The guilds where great and I learned a great deal and gained a greater respect for the history of France and the people who live there. Our ship host did at great job of educating us and letting us know what was going to happen the next day. Read more
