Just wanted to redress the balance of criticisms about Britannia which we believe is unfair and unjust. We've cruised widely with P&O on five of their ships and with Royal Caribbean. Britannia is a beautiful ship with an elegant, contemporary and well designed décor. Yes, it's a big ship but as it says in the ad it's 'the biggest ship built for British market'. That said, it's not too big, it has a lot of space and is easy to find your way around (some people would get lost in a Tesco car park...other supermarket car parks are available).

The food was good, service excellent and the entertainment was brilliant. Every time we cruise we discover a small number of vocal malcontents who seem to moan about anything or everything. We spoke with many passengers on Britannia who agree with our view of the ship. Britannia is a large, modern beautifully appointed cruise ship and ticks all the boxes.

Oh, and the Caribbean in January is stunning.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony

Well appointed. Reasonable size and easily big enough for two people. Nice big flat screen TV with excellent range of films etc. Very comfortable large double bed. Shower has a glass door which is a definite improvement over the usual plastic curtains.

Port Reviews

Barbados

Went to Carlisle Bay for third time. Lovely beach.

Curacao

A pleasant surprise.

Aruba

Very American. Went to Eagle Bay. Taxi $15 between four of us. Bus back $4.
