This was our first Viking cruise and we absolutely loved it. The food was great, the service impeccable and the ambiance just what we were looking for. After having done so many large ships, this was so relaxing and what a vacation should be, only fuss when you want it.
We were impressed with the fact that the waiters and Cruise Director remembered our names and tuned into our needs. The ship I understand has been retired now, but it was beautiful and classy. Our state room with a French Balcony window was perfect and had everything we wanted at our fingertips.
But what really impressed us most was how organized everything was, especially the excursions. It was so nice not to have to surround the tour guide to hear what we were trying to see. Instead, the earphones and transmitters we all wore meant we could walk a block away and still hear what was being said.
Very well organized and easy to get around with everything at our fingertips. Shower was small but definitely fine.
Hard to hear the tour guide and was given wrong starting place.
Bus ride and description of the area was wonderful
Very informative
Unfortunately we had to detour to a different winery than expected because of a problem on the bridge going over to the winery. But the bus driver was outstanding because he had to backup to get us back to the main road
Terrific tour guide who had so much good info about the castle and its surrounding area
Beautiful major Cathedral.
