This was our first cruise so this review is geared more toward people like myself who spent a lot of time researching cruises to try to figure out what to expect.

We were a multi-generational party of 5 - me and my husband (in our 40's) , 2 boys (ages 10 & 12) and my father-in-law (age 85). We chose RCI as it seemed most suitable for both our younger family and my older father-in-law. We had two staterooms side by side, with balconies.

We flew in a day early and spent a night in Port Canaveral. We used the Hertz shuttle to get to the cruise port. From there, everything was a breeze. We arrived just after 11:00 AM. Check in was easy and there was no wait to walk right on. We were on board in under 30 mins from arrival. It was very easy.

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

More room than expected, enjoyed the balcony.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Easy coming and going!

St. Thomas

Went to Magens Bay. Beautiful beach, friendly bus driver, a little squished into the seats but an enjoyable afternoon.

St. Maarten

We booked with Bernard's due to their value and reputation. We had an excellent experience - very professional, high quality bus tour of the Island. We saw the main highlights plus a few out of the way places. The tour was shorter than I expected but when we got back, we were pretty worn out and were glad to get back with plenty of time to relax before we departed. Great value and excellent for both my kids and father in law.
