Sail Date: Jan 2016
Cabin: Grand Suite

We sailed January 4, 2016 to January 9, 2016.

Due to reading too many reviews and spending too much time on research (LOL), I was extremely nervous about whether we would enjoy this cruise. All my fears were put to rest within an hour or so of being on the ship.

Yes, the Elation is an older ship. However, it is kept extremely clean and is very well taken care of. I was very impressed with how it presented itself. The public areas were fun and visual interesting. It was fun to explore and to see the theme of the boat carried throughout each bar, lounge and restaurant. It is glitzy and gaudy and wonderful!

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

Cabin GS

We were offered an upgrade from a junior suite to a grand suite about a month before the cruise. We took the upgrade and were very pleased with the space that we had and the layout of the suite. We enjoyed the balcony but for such short amounts of time that it was probably unnecessary for us. We did not stay in our cabin for more time than it took to sleep, shower and take quick breaks during the day. We will do a cabin with a window in the future.
