My DP and I flew into PIE on a Direct flight from South Bend IN, on Allegiant AIR. booked 2 days before flying (the Day after Thanksgiving) for ONLY 126.00 each. rented a car from PIE and Drove to Miami returned the car at MIA and took a cab to the hotel we stayed at the Holiday bayside. which is a favorite of ours to stay at while in Miami because of location. Woke up saturday morning for our cruise, we repacked and took a cab from the hotel to the port. got into line. which was really no line. moved very fast got our sign and sail card got on board got the free hand sanitizing Blessing from a kind ship crew member and had our glass of free OJ. Since we were so close we didn't board til after 2 so we were able to go right to our room. our room for an inside was VERY ROOMIE, it was a cabin of different layout highly recommend this layout versus the normal. we met our cabin steward right away and introduced ourselves. Our cabin steward did an excellent job keeping the refrig with diet colas room clean etc we tipped him an extra $20.00 at the end, Food: we found the Food on the NCL Pearl Fantastic. We want to thank everyone for the comments on the food etc being so bad we had to try it for our selves we found it to be just the opposite. Food was plenty served properly , hot and very tasty. The Buffet had great choices every day and night the crepes at night were out standing. we ate at Cagney's for dinner one night on my DP Birthday. Dinner was WELL worth the 20 pp surcharge HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Shows: The shows on the pearl was great shark bait was worth it alone, the production shows were great comedian great. Linda and her staff did an excellent job keeping the ships passengers engaged and getting them to the great events such as the White party, Monte Carlo night in the casino etc. Casino: the casino on the pearl was a nice size I found the machines paying out the entire week. Bingo a little pricey but well worth it I even won 417.00 so it paid for my week of Bingo. Ports: Roatan and Belize not much maybe in 10 years they are working on it, Cozumel we love anyways the pirate island was great. we we not that worried about the ports this time we got a great deal of 229.00 pp so we were just happy to be on board.

OVER ALL THIS BY FAR was the BEST of ANY of our 16th Cruises we had taken to that Point. We forgot how much we LOVED NCL and wondered why we left NCL. We are Now Officially NCL cruisers for Life. We were worried about the free style dinning (Loved it) wasn't sure about the pay rest. (loved it). The staff and crew was great very Friendly and truly concerned about everyone trip being the best. NOT once did I find a scowling face or crabby crew member. Even at the Meet and greet they provided a continental breakfast and crew members were there to personally Thank us for sailing on the NCL pearl. Upon returning home I took the Time to Call NCL about the Great time we had on the cruise. They asked me to write it down and fax it to them I did. they we very grateful and promised to forward my letter to the ship. I know to many times it is easier to write a letter on complaint than it is a letter of compliments. two weeks later I received a letter thanking me for the letter and stating to let them know when we were sailing again so they can give us a small token .we did sail again on the NCL dawn a month and a half later see that review soon. we didn't bother to call them for the freebees that is NOt why I sent them a nice letter it was to truly express my appreciation and the great time we had on NCL
