We just returned from a 31-day South American cruise on the Star Princess. We enjoyed most everything about the cruise. The lecturers were very good. The entertainment, although not first class compared with other ships and shorter cruises, was very good. There was some repetition and some less than stellar acts but overall we enjoyed most evenings.

We had a partially obstructed stateroom but one without a lifeboat so we were able to enjoy the view. And the cabin size was adequate (E609) for the long cruise.

The Star is a good size ship-- not too big so it was easy to get around. We enjoyed sitting in the Skywalker Nightclub during the day and watching the beautiful views. Read more
