We arrived at Galveston around 10:45, and d.h dropped us off and went to park. We breezed through security and didn’t wait in line to get our sail and sign cards. We were ready around 11, when they started boarding. We waited for dd and dh who had to walk back from parking, but we were able to get on board around 11:15. Yay for Platinum! Even without being platinum, the new staggered times seem to be working well.
Our room was ready, so we dropped off our carry-ons and went to find food. We went to Lido deck, and food was waiting. I opted for the Burrito Bar and had the shrimp burrito. It was fantastic! I had planned on getting it again but just ran out of days to eat! Everyone else thought the food was good.
We walked around exploring the ship after that. Stopped by the kids club and picked up schedules for the week. We had pre-registered online, so 15 y.o. dd was ready to go. She was waiting for the meet n greet icebreaker that night.
Comfortable cabin. Lots of storage. Loud during the docking and sometimes at night with the waves.
nice ride through the jungle. Got to go through beach water and a monkey reserve with sloths. Also stopped at a beach that was amazing!
Too long of a trip there and nothing else to do if you just booked zipline. Had to wait while others finished cave tubing.
Excellent experience. Saw lots of sharks/stingrays and other fish.
Went to Carlos and Charlies. They were wonderful there. Parasailing and snorkeling from there were both very good.
Very easy embarkation. Only took 15 minutes!
