HISTORY: we have cruised several times...first was on The Big Red Boat, several on RCL and 2 on Disney. Our last cruise was 5 years ago on the Oasis. My husband and I traveled with our 2 older children--(daughter, 19 and son, 15)
EMBARKATION: We were impressed with how quickly we were able to check-in. This was the first time we booked a Junior Suite...which came with unexpected perks...one was to check in under "SUITES" instead of general boarding line.
JUNIOR SUITE STATEROOM 6642: We loved our room! The walk-in closet was the biggest amenity for us. Tip: take a few minutes to unpack your suitcases and it makes for an easier time getting ready. Our oceanfront balcony was enjoyed by all of us. Well worth the extra $$ for this spacious room.
Beautiful, spacious room with a walk-in closet, tub/shower, ocean view balcony. Just right for our teens traveling with us. We had an awesome stateroom attendant named SUSIE! She was a real sweetheart and always kept our room clean.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Atlantis Submarine! Very cool to see underwater marine park, all the marine life and sunken ship all at 120 ft below sea level...HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!
We didn't take an excursion here but enjoyed the day at the beach! The lunch was delicious!
We flew into Ft Lauderdale the day before our cruise set sail.( highly recommend) We stayed at the Embassy near the port Everglades. Beautiful property with lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
