How does one begin to rate spending more than one week in the utmost luxury, state-of-the- art accommodations -- the Viking Star. For me this was a once in a lifetime experience! The Viking Star is beautifully designed and tastefully decorated. The state rooms were exceptionally clean!!! large and bright, having every accommodation found in the finest hotel.

All of the staff that I countered on a daily bases - those assigned to room service, the dining facilities, reception areas were particularly responsive and gracious in their interactions; as well, those with whom I had chance encounters such as the individuals who were responsible for maintaining and sailing the ship. Mohammed was responsible for my area - and he was the best!!

The dining accommodations/service and meals were lovely. A wide variety of menu choices, tasty, and artfully presented - including the local cuisine
