This is my 3 cruise, the first was on the Fascination which was wonderful. The second was my favorite, the Carnival Pride! This ship (Carnival Sunshine) was the worst. I read reviews about the sewer smell but I thought maybe some people are just sensitive to it. WRONG, this smell is all over the ship. Even in my balcony room, the Liquid lounge and atrium.

This ship has a very small area for the shows compared to the Pride. Prepare to stand in line at least an hour early to get a seat! Also, the comedy club was hard to get a seat with lines stretching all down the hallway. Many stood in line for an hour only to be turned away at the door. Forget getting a lounge chair for catching some sun, they were always taken. There is supposed to be a 45 maximum time to leave your chair unattended but it was not enforced.

There is no "wow" factor on this ship. Even in the Atrium, there is chrome balls for decoration are covered in dust. Carnival added many more state rooms at the expense of having things to do. Make sure you are seated in the lower dining room (Sunset) not Sunrise. My table was positioned in the walkway so I have to keep moving to let people go by. Wall to wall people. It seems Carnival forgot what their purpose is and just turned this ship into an expensive transportation ferry. I would not recommend this ship at all. Thanks.

Cabin was ok except for the sewer smell and extremely dirty windows.
