Sail Date: Dec 2015
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

My husband and I have cruised in Dec. for the last 4 years. We enjoy the festive feel and decorations. The weather is usually great and the prices are more reasonable. We had a superior ocean view with a very large balcony. We arrived about 12:30 but it was very crowded and took some time to get on the ship. Probably because of the amount of people on board, this was one of the longer times that it has taken before we were on board. The advantage was that we were able to go right to our cabin. Our cabin was as expected but the balcony was huge. It would have been nice to have two loungers. We went to the windjammer for lunch(big mistake) Extremely disorganized and we could not find ANYWHERE to sit so took our food back to the cabin. We were seldom happy with the windjammer the entire cruise. We both found the food on this cruise to be sub-par from the other RCI ships. day.We went to Johnny Rockets, Wipe-Out Café, Park Café and Solarium for breakfast most other days of the cruise. Our favorite was the Solarium. We absolutely loved this area of the ship and spent many pleasant mornings there. All entertainment was unsurpassed at sea. Enjoyed Board Walk and Central Park. It is an amazing ship of engineering and ingenuity.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D5

The cabin was expected but the bed was right in front of the closet which made it often difficult to get your clothes. The desk is very small but seemed adequate. The balcony was huge but it would have been nice to have at least one lounge along with the 2 chairs and small table. It was a bit of a walk to the elevator but really not bad. Our room steward Chito was excellent.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

we enjoyed all of our excursions but we always try to find the good in whatever we do.

Two were with the ship and 1 was with Bernard Tours on St Martin. Really did not see what the big attraction is with the planes flying over the beach. Way too many people here.
