The Indonesian ports selected were quite special and side trips offered to important sites:-
A. Ports of Call
Tanjung Priok (Jakarta): This is the port of Jakarta and it is in North Jakarta. I think this stop was set up for port and passport clearance. Not much to see here. Excursions offered glimpses of old Jakarta but the city is so massive and jammed up that tours here are frustratingly slow. A free shuttle took us to a shopping center in the North of Jakarta. Many stayed around but others took a taxi from the shopping center and visited parts of Jakarta. A short stopover, docked.
Medium sized cabin, with a small sofa, closets and writing desk with chair. small LCD TV.
High standard of cleaning and setting up for day and night by the attendant.
Two medium sized beds with thick mattresses, covers and blanket. Two pillows, long and short.
Small bath tub, and shower, with "vacuum" toilet. shampoo, conditioner and bath oil in pumps. Large bath soap. Hair conditoiner was poor quality.
Many large, medium and small towels.
Window could view the Lower Promenade but was obstructed because of a vertical pillar holding the upper decks. Mostly kept the window shade on because the lower promenade had many walkers night and day.
