First, let me just say I've never cruised with Norwegian before. Before this cruise, I was disappointed that they discontinued the Nickelodeon alliance after I purchased the cruise. Then NCL started upcharging so many things on this cruise that was originally included. That being said ...

The ship was so beautiful and large. We were in a mid ship mini suite. We had easy access to the stairs and elevators. It was so easy to get around and not get lost even though it was so large.

The Manhattan dining room was beautiful. But you can feel the ship rocking like crazy because it was in the back of the ship. We did not try Taste or Savor dining rooms. Cagneys was right above the Manhattan room, so you could feel it rocking as well. But the food was amazing there. The best dining we encountered was in Teppanyaki. The food was over the top and so was the chef's show. The kids loved it. Moderno Churasscaria was good but not as good as Cagneys, in my opinion. Too much food to choose from. It overwhelmed me. O'Sheehans was really good for Irish food. Loved their Corned beef and cabbage soup. We ate breakfast at the Garden Cafe everyday. The food was very good. We did not try out Margaritaville at Sea because the night before we embarked they announced that it will no longer be complimentary. Another upcharge.

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

This was a beautiful cabin but small for a family of four. But we squeezed in for each evening. Our cabin steward kept our room very well. The bathroom was super big with a walk in shower for two and spa like rain waterfall shower. Double sink also. All though the closet was small, it still had enough room for all four of our clothing.

Miami

We stayed at the Embassy Suites Miami Airport. It's a beautiful hotel. I was surprised by how quiet the rooms are being we were right next to the airport. Very clean and the free breakfast was a plus.

St. Thomas

We hailed a taxi and went to Coki Point. We wanted to visit Magens Bay but it was closed that day. Coki Point was so much fun. I'm so glad we ended up there. We had all our snorkel gear and we were able to see so much marine life. Be careful though, I got stung by a wasp while in the water. Very painful. My son lost his wallet with $100 in it. He told us when we got back to the ship. My husband found another taxi to take him back and see if anyone turned it in. And to our happy surprise, they had. What a great way to end the day.
