Sail Date: Nov 2015

We had a family group of 11 that cruised over Thanksgiving weekend. We were in 2 suites and 2 balcony cabins. Boarding was fair - we stopped by the preferred check in and the Suites sailors were told to stand in line. Later they were told that they should have gotten preferential boarding.

We had made reservations each night for the entire group. Every night it was a problem. Though we had paper confirmation of the entire group, the restaurants seems surprised that we needed 11 seats. The suites rooms were smaller than expected. The balcony rooms were the smallest of any cruise we've every sailed. One daughter was right next door to our balcony room and their balcony room was like a meat locker. Our room was hot and we never got any relief until the 2nd night of the cruise. This was our 2nd NCL cruise and it is safe to say that it will be our last.

BTW, on our first night of the cruise we witnessed a nasty fight in the atrium bar and security was POOR at best. We had 2 children with us and literally huddled in a corner to try and keep them from seeing what was going on while extremely large and drunk men fought with tiny little security people wringing their hands. I have cruised a lot and I have NEVER seen anything like this. And Sky is going to be unlimited alcohol from now on.....great move!

Port Reviews

Nassau

We rented rooms at the Comfort Suites and this was about half the price of NCL's excursion to the same place. Atlantis was wonderful.

Miami

The port was nice.
