Let me start by saying that we were able to drive to the cruise port from our home in 1'40" which was a big draw in choosing this ship. I found an off site parking in Bayonne only 1.5 miles from the ship for a good bit less than the parking garage although it wasn't covered. (Premiere Parking). The drivers were prompt and dropped us right off at the terminal entrance. I spoke with some other guests who had driven a bit further and used a nearby hotel for an overnight that included parking. We were able to bring two bottles of wine on board on the day of embarkation only.

We arrived a little before 11 am and were held in a large hall for check in. Employees came by with ipads and checked us in. We received our card keys but if you wanted a RFID band it was $4.95 each. Rooms weren't available until 1 pm so we had lunch at Two70 and explored the ship. I found the ship very easy to navigate. There were two banks of elevators one fore and on aft. Sometimes there was a wait for the elevators.

We had a balcony on deck 11 and found the cabin to be a good size with plenty of storage space and lots of hangers ( my husband ended up tying them together to keep the from banging together when the waves kicked up). The shower was an OK size but due to the curved door the was no place for a clothes line which I missed. The hot water came promptly and was easy to set for hot and cold. It also had a night light that was always on. If you want ice or a bathrobe just ask the cabin steward. We had an excellent cabin steward.
