Cabin Review

Veranda Suite

Cabin AA

With the many cancellations due to the Friday 13th bombing in Paris, I requested and was given an upgrade from our Veranda Stateroom to a Veranda Suite. This is the second time we have been so upgraded, the first time being on our Budapest to Bucharest cruise, "Pathway to Eastern Europe", on the Viking Rinda in March 2014.

The Veranda Suite is absolutely wonderful with its living room, bedroom and huge bathroom, and TWO large flat panel TVs. The full veranda off the living room and the French balcony off the bedroom give ample visual access to the passing scenery, although the COLD temperatures prevented much use of the veranda features.

We were also greeted with a bottle of champagne and several potted orchid plants. The sofa and chair in the living room were comfortable and convenient, with a large coffee table in front. The refrigerator was also convenient for storing our wine, water and soft drinks. The closet in the bedroom was huge with several drawers of storage in addition to the hanger space.

THIS is the way to cruise!
