Sail Date: Jan 2016

We sailed on Jan 3 and had a wonderful trip! This was our first time out of Galveston and it was a very easy port. there is a ton of construction going on for a new terminal. Easy to self park if you drive there. The ship was still in pretty good condition, but did need a little tlc, and it's off to dry dock to get it. The food was wonderful in the dining room, and the staff was so attentive and fun! We had my time dining, but sat in the same area each night, between two waiters sections. Windjammer was average. I hadn't sailed this class before, and it's a great size. Cabins were nice, and we had adjoining rooms and balconies. Our cruise director was Amy, and she was very good. Shows were also very good. We did one shore excursion in Belize, to Altun Ha with the Wallace River and enjoyed it very much. Be aware of the bug bites...use spray! Our cabin attendant was also wonderful! I had been a little nervous that staff might be unhappy or inattentive since dry dock was coming, but that was not the case. I am a loyal RCCL cruiser, and I was not disappointed.
