The cruise was alot of fun; the only reason I deducted a star was for the waves preventing us from tendering to Great Stirrup Cay. That was the main reason we booked this cruise. This was our first cruise with Norwegian; our 4th cruise in all. The other 3 cruises were with Carnival. We are a young adult couple that really enjoys cruising. This boat is a huge boat; in saying that, it is definitely a busy boat.

SHIP: There is always something going on and you cannot possibly attend everything. The boat has the following features: ropes course, water slides, mini golf, arcade games, bowling, pools, and hot-tubs. In saying that, we only played mini-golf and went to the arcade. My husband and I are not big into water activities with a billion people. I was going to do the ropes course but time ran out; as I said, there is always something to do. The arcade was a decent size for the ship. I heard many people complain about not having enough loungers and the pools were small. We stayed in the haven and there was always plenty of space for us there. The bar service to the loungers was a bit slow still. It was quicker to walk to the Haven Bar to get a drink. They did deliver little snacks to the loungers and cool towels to your lounger. What a treat! This was the bar we frequently visited. It was very seldom busy and they made really good drinks. The atrium is always crowded and I think the ship needs a better place to hold meetings and activities. It is way too busy and The Getaway Theater would be better suited for this. My main problem with the ship is the elevators. There are not enough elevators for the amount of people; be ready to walk up stairs. They need a haven elevator at least. (By the way, only one side of the elevators will take you to deck 16) Otherwise, the ship is laid out very well. You can walk from one side to the other, without much trouble.

SPA: We had thermal spa suite passes because we booked a Haven Spa Suite. This was a great addition to our trip. They have 2 saunas, steam room, salt room, hot tubs, and a pool. They also have these tile loungers. They are amazing. The are heated and you can sit there and relax after a dip in the pool. The soft loungers in the spa area are very soft. The spa is of decent size but on sea days, it does get a little busy. We went to the spa while docked at port and there were only 2 other people in there with us. Private spa day, I think yes!

Cabin Review

The Haven Spa Suite with Balcony

Cabin H9

Staying in the Haven Spa Suite was amazing. We had access to all the amenities associated with the haven; as well as all the thermal spa amenities. The room itself was very well sized for a cruise room. We had a lounge chair, full sized king bed, the jacuzzi tub, and so much storage space. The bed was the best part; this and the pillows. Both were super soft. The bathroom had a huge shower, double vanity, and a toilet. The room was decorated well and very modern. Our room steward Ronaldo did a great job keeping our room clean and well kept. Because this is a haven room, we had butler and concierge service. Our butler, Vergil, did a great job explaining the room to us and delivering nightly snacks. He also delivered room service a few times. He was simply amazing. We booked all of our entertainment and dining online before cruising. In saying that, we didn't use the concierge service but a few times for changes to dining and checking into our flight.
