This was our first cruise on Carnival and second overall. Last time was 30th Anniversary back in 2001 on Princess up Inside Passage to Seward Alaska. It was like night and day comparison.

This was seemed like more fun, as it probably should be to Western Caribbean (Progreso Yucatan and Cozumel). Dinner was enjoyable and a variety to choose from. Buffet was, well what can I say it's a buffet. Guy's Burger bar was outstanding! The Taco/Burrito was also a good alternative to the buffet. Breakfast Omelette was OK. Pizza bar open 24/7 was my nemesis, so much for counting calories!

Entertainment was very professional, and entertaining. After all "that's entertainment". I enjoyed the Trivia contests and the art auction lured us in to the bidding frenzy, BEWARE!

Cabin Review

Interior Upper/Lower

Cabin 1A

Larger than expected for the 2 of us. Air could be cold if not adjusting the overhead vent.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Isla Pasion (Passion Island) was a fun and well organized experience thanks to our guide Alex. Also much fun on the catamaran over and back to the island.

Progreso

We stayed near the ship and shopped in the Duty Free shops before going back onboard to relax. Other we talked to had a great time in town and seeing the Mayan ruins.

Galveston

It was cold and rainy, so we elected to board early and huddle up in the staging area of the ship terminal.
