Although we are Disney nuts, and have never cruised on another line, this cruise was disappointing enough that we cancelled a future cruise with DCL and have decided to try another line. Also looking at a second different line for an additional cruise. We still had a great time, but on this cruise we did begin the process of thinking about value for money. That process continued for a couple of weeks after we returned and ended with us deciding to try other cruise lines.

Cabin: Disappointment. Red pillow on bed was so frayed and used we did not want to touch it. Blanket on bed also well worn. Wood encasement surrounding bathtub coming apart. Hard to describe. Shower head would not remain in its holder and would fall out at weird times with a crash against the tub. Eventually we just left it hanging. Room seemed like it was missing a framed picture, but not sure. They had replaced the bed and night tables with a darker, (looked to us) cheaper furniture and the rest of the furniture was the lighter color older furniture. We felt like we were in the middle of a redecorating project. We have been on the Wonder before and we know she is due a dry dock, but still...

Dining: Food really disappointing in MDRs. Food better in MDRs at lunch than dinner. Good in BB Buffet. Drink machine area was not monitored. People filling up drinks with all manner of dirty cups, etc. Usually there are employees stopping people from using their own cups for sanitary reasons.
