Since we live in Central Florida, we drove to Miami the night before our cruise. I used Priceline.com to book our room and we stayed in the Hyatt Regency Downtown Miami for $65. The room was a fabulous suite with a king size bed, very spacious and very clean. The best part, the hotel is just minutes from the Port of Miami.

EMBARKATION This was our fifth time to embark in Miami and I must say Carnival has made embarkation easy. When you check in, you are issued a zone #. We were in zone #2 and were on the ship by 11:45 am. We went directly to our stateroom and dropped off our carry ons and met our room steward. We then went out to the Lido Deck and ran into our group of friends from Chicago. A rating

CABIN We booked an inside cabin on the Lido Deck. While the cabin was really convenient, it was the noisiest cabin we have ever been in. We were constantly hearing doors slam and the room stewards had there room right around the corner from us so there was a lot of traffic from them. The first night of the cruise something was going on in the Spa, because we heard noises coming from the gym. I figured it must have been crew members working out. B- rating

Cabin 4F

Nice sized cabin for an inside, but way to much noise. Cabin #9121 We could hear doors slamming shut all the time and we could hear noise from the Spa above us.
