We've been on 25 cruises with 24 on RCCL. We've had times where things didn't go as planned but we're generally pretty laid back and try to understand the situation at hand. Although we had read quite a few reviews about this class before the cruise we were keeping an open mind, thinking some of the other reviews were being really picky (I.e. Should bring an east coast pizza chef on board to cater to the New York pizza eaters).

Entertainment on the ship was good for the most part. We Will Rock You, Katrina Love and Synergy, DSB were all great! The DJ was good and the house band, Hot Spices was also good. One show we walked out of was Spectra Caberet. It was a self-indulgent, clunky, overly hyped show adding a frenzied amount of trapeze, tech and 'hip' music which left us wondering what the heck are we watching? Wasn't our favorite but it's in the eye of the beholder.

Concierge and staff was great. Loved that Diamond plus get three drinks at any bar during the 'happy hour' timeframe (from a special menu selection). This way if you are with people who don't qualify for the Diamond Lounge or Concierge Lounge then you can all be together in any bar on the ship.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Liked the layout with cupboards for each passenger plus extra drawers. More electric plugs. Cabins are always on the small side but the balcony helps. We peeked into some of the interior cabins with the virtual windows and it was kind of cool.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Our tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable and knew how to get around some of the crowds. Good way to tour the area.

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Embarkation was ok. Liked the new parking garage. The new iPad check in was good if you had done your pre work of uploading a photo and having your SetSail pass ready.
