This was our second time cruising, our first was a year ago on the Carnival Ecstasy out of Miami. I'm not sure if Carnival in general has changed in the past year or if its just this ship but the food was absolutely terrible! You will not have to worry about gaining weight on this ship unless you eat the unlimited ice cream 24/7! The one thing we looked forward to was the evening dining because we thought for sure that meal would be great...WRONG! everything was bland, cold and tasteless! And if you are like us and looked forward to lobster night, that is also a thing of the past!

The ship is in need of some love, lots of chips in the paint and dings in the furniture, carpet is dirty and the cabin smelled. Staff for the most part was friendly, but the excursion desk were down right rude! Not one smile, not one friendly word, just sign here and here is your ticket!

The "port" in Progresso is a dump, just a bar and a few shops, if you don't have an excursion planned for that day you are in for a boring stay! The only part of our trip we enjoyed was the Mayan ruins, that was amazing and I am glad we got to see it, but next time we will book an all inclusive resort stay and stay away from this floating dump!!
