P & O The Jewell.... I went on this 3 night cruise on the 20th November 2015. The cruise was a nice way to relax but the ship was a very low class and low budget cruise ship, inside was ugly with a brown and white paint job a lot of the inside walls were badly rusted but were painted over.

The food was pathetic and there was no serve yourself buffet like on the other ships we have been on, the food was devided into four sections e.g.; Australian, Mexican, Indian & Chinese. Aussie food was a roast and chicken with vegetables and gravy, Chinese consisted of a pasta dish 99.9% pasta with cabbage and a few thin strips of carrot whatever meat was in it was almost invisible, and fish & chips. Mexican had three dishes and Indian had beef, pork and chicken with their Indian breads, the deserts were pathetic mainly something in a pastry shell, no ice cream and very watery custard. The meals were dished out by the workers which meant a very long wait in a queue up to 15 minutes or longer depending what food you wanted I waited 15 minutes just to get one bowl of oats which was more like runny liquid made on water-YUK.

Breakfast had a good selection of cereals and hot food but by the time you got served most of the food was just barely warm. The tea & coffee was also served by a worker which meant a wait in line as well, the cups were green plastic for the hot drinks and some had dirty finger prints on them and also lipstick stains, a sure sign that they were probably just rinsed and not washed properly. It was almost impossible to get a table unless you were there as soon as they opened and on many occasions there was no cutlery, the reason given was that there were a lot of people and they had to wash the cutlery.
