Sail Date: Dec 2015
Cabin: Balcony

We had cruised with Princess four times before and this was our 4th Christmas cruise and the second time we had cruised on the Dawn Princess.

We had forgotten how small the cabins are on the smaller ships, but we had a balcony and didn't spend too much time in the cabin anyway so it really wasn't a problem.

The ship has undertaken a partial refurbishment since our last cruise and we were impressed with the new look Horizons, although the ship is starting to look tired in some areas.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BC

The cabin was quite small compared to the larger ships, such as the Diamond Princess and the balcony was only big enough for two chairs and a very small footstool/table.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

The cruise terminal was very user friendly.

Champagne Bay (Vanuatu)

A beautiful beach and the tender service was effortless.

Port Vila

A great excursion with plenty of time to snorkel. The staff were very informative, polite and helpful

Mystery Island

A beautiful beach where we enjoyed swimming and snorkelling.

Noumea

Really enjoyed the relaxation after a fast ride to the island. The beach was glorious and it was lovely to laze on our sun-beds under a shady beach umbrella.

Lifou

We really enjoyed getting among the locals. The excursion leader was excellent and the scenery was beautiful
