GENERAL OBSERVATIONS

The ship was overcrowded. There were insufficient staff and insufficient public spaces to accommodate all guests. It seems that recent refurbishments just added more cabins and reduced public spaces. This meant that there was a long line for just about everything – lifts, tenders, entry to venues and especially the reception desk – not the ideal way to spend a holiday.

The refurbishment also meant that fewer activities could be run as there were not as many venues to run activities in, and the venues were constantly packed. Most of the new additions were speciality restaurants – how sensible of RCI to convert public spaces into money-making venues!
