Good for a newbie; not so good for a seasoned cruiser.

This was our fifth cruise with family over the Christmas break. It was our second cruise with RC. We left from Tampa and visited Key West and Cozumel. We've been on RC, Carnival, and Celebrity, and in comparison to the other cruises, this one was near the bottom.

First the positives: most of the workers were all excellent. Everyone smiled at us as we walked by. It took us less than 30 minutes to check-in. They were very fast and efficient, getting everything we wanted in place.

Our room attendant knew that we were traveling as a large group of 13 people, and he made it a point to know all of our names. We saw him at least three times a day. He would dote on the kids and ask us how we were doing. Our room was always cleaned and up to par. His name was Foster. He shared about his family and how he was doing. We already had prepaid tips, but he did go out of his way, so we give him a bit more because he made the effort to get to know us. Everyone in our group agreed that he was a great attendant.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

Our cabin was a typical inside room. They have lots of drawers to store things. Our only real complaint was the smell of urine in the room. Eck! The walls are pretty thin as well, so we could hear our neighbors being cozy, and upstairs had some rowdy boys that loved to jump around at midnight. We are not complainers, but we had to let RC know because they were REALLY loud. Maybe next time, we need an outside room...haha

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Great food, great fun. Really crowded but fun still

Key West

Enjoyed the Key Lime Pie, walking around, Ripley's Believe it or Not. Just a fun walking day.
