Had a fabulous time on Epic when I did the 15 night Canary Island and Western Med cruise over Christmas and New Year. The only fault I could find was that the ship was just too big, I'm used to smaller with approx 2000 passengers. However it was one of my best cruises ever. The Solo lounge is a great idea and both Vishy and William gave us outstanding attention , organising tables for dinner, and making show reservations. Ncl, please take note and put Solo lounges on all you ships. I left the ship in Tangiers and Malaga only because Tangiers was new to me and I wanted to see the Alhambra Palace in Grenada. All other ports I stayed on board as I had previously visited them all, and I really enjoy ships.

The food in main dining rooms was very good, but the buffet food was better. I didn't go to any of the shows because I just fall asleep! I've slept through Elements - twice! I danced the night away every evening in Bliss, thanks to Fernando and the boys! Jill was a great cruise director, very high profile and a lovely lady, I fact I've never seen as much of any CD! She and Fernando her acd ran a wonderful team. Well done!! You made my holiday.

The service throughout the ship was outstanding, with smiles all the way. Bar staff were great, remembering my drink every time. Imagine my surprise when one barman addressed me by name, remembering me from Jade! But then I've been on Jade three times during last year! I love Ncl and look forward to my next adventure with them and I specifically enjoy the Freestyle dining concept. What a wonderful idea!

Cabin T1

Studio solo cabin, too small, but very compact, not enough storage space. Wardrobes not high enough to hang long dresses!
