We had been allocated 15.30 embarkation time, however we decided to leave our hotel around 2pm and after being given a coloured letter card we were on board by 2.30 and our luggage was already at our cabin. Our steward Nicholau introduced himself and explained procedures as we were freedom dining that let him know when he could service our cabin. He looked after us really well and on finding out that I didn't like ginger he never left them again, nothing was too much for him, or cabin was C603.
We found the service in the main restaurant to be very good much better than we received on Arcadia but found the choice of meals to be rather limited and P&O had removed the always on option. We ate once in Beachouse which we fond to be good value but last time we ate in the equivalent on Azura there was no charge except for a couple of dishes which still carry extra charges.
The weather was a little lively for first couple of days and the ship rocked and rolled a lot on the Friday night so had little sleep. We have had a lot worse conditions but nowhere near the movement we received on Ventura.
Cabin was kept clean and tidy by steward, plenty of storeage space and large balcony
