Our 11th cruise, 10th with Carnival -- just a quick New Year's Eve getaway, sailing out of Tampa on the Paradise. We had an absolute blast! We love the smaller ships -- easier to get around and navigate, no long lines, no waiting for an elevator.

EMBARKATION: Quick and easy. We got to the port at 10:30, and boarded around 11 with FTTF. We went right to our ready cabin to drop off our stuff, and then headed out for drinks and lunch. Our checked luggage was delivered before we returned from lunch.

CABIN/STEWARD: We had an ocean view stateroom on Empress deck, mid-ship, the perfect location on these smaller ships. Cabin was spotless, and our steward was the most attentive we have ever experienced.
