This was our 11th cruise, the 3rd on NCL. It appeared that due to a full ship with it being a Christmas Cruise, that NCL did not hire on any extra help to deal with all the passengers and children. The staff was overworked and grumpy and things did not get done! Our dinners in the dining room took at least 1 1/2 hours and even up to 2 1/2 hours. Very long times of "nothing" between the courses!! We missed the first entertainment show of the evening, due to the long dinner - You had to be seated by 5:00 to be sure you could see the 7:30 show. In the cabins our sheets were never changed the entire 7 nights we were there, and towel animals appeared only 2 of the nights (I am sure it was because they just did not have time to get it all done). The theater was extremely cold for the shows, everyone started wearing heavy sweaters, then finally coats and brought in blankets to see the shows by the end of the cruise!! The food selection in the dining room was very average - never offered shrimp cocktail or lobster or baked Alaska a single time.. We had to tender out from the pier at one of the ports, and they had to use the ship's life boats to tender people in. It took a long time to move all the people, yet we were not given any extra time at the port! Overall things were ok, just not great as they have been before.

Our check in process through this port went very well - not long at all.
