Let's start at the beginning. We arrived quite early at the Brisbane cruise terminal expecting to wait a while to embark, even though we had priority boarding. Well what a surprise we were checked in and on board within 30 minutes and exploring the ship soon after. Bags were delivered within the hour. Quite painless.

This was our first Christmas cruise so didn't know what to expect. It was great. There was a real variety of age groups on board. From young to older couples, singles, extended family groups and groups of friends.

We dined almost every night in the dining room. The wait staff were very professional and friendly and the food was really great with a good variety. Tried the Curtis Stone Chicken and Leek pie which was really good but I would prefer the all time favourite menu to come back with it's bigger choice of dishes. On other occasions we ate at the Horizon Court and really enjoyed the theme nights -Asian, Italian etc. The newly refurbished Horizon court looked great, some food was good, some average. variety was very good, especially the desserts. The whole food area was always clean, neat and tidy and staff were always doing their best to keep tables clean for other passengers.

Balcony

Cabin BE

Good bed, compact bathroom with adequate storage shelves, plenty of wardrobe space with so many coat hangers, small private balcony - overall very comfortable.
