We chose this cruise because of the packages offered and because it was convenient to get to the day after Christmas. Ship was old which we knew but it was also dirty, not so much the inside but the balconies, decks and windows. Staff were ok but many seemed bothered by something, like they were tired of people. Especially the bartenders and servers in Galaxy, almost felt like I needed to apologize for wanting to order.

We ate at Windows for most meals. The buffet, Raffles, was chaos and food was below average at best. And we really don't think charging for "better" food is right, the food, food quality and service should be the same. Different restaurants should be based on theme or type of food, i.e. Thai, Italian, etc. For the most part the food at Windows was just Ok, started out pretty good but quickly became very average. The New Years Eve dinner was poor at best. The lady wait staff were excellent and very upbeat. However many of the men servers needed a lesson in customer service and like the bartenders acted like they were bothered.

Evening entertainment was slim to none. We don't do shows, well we did one and it fulfilled our expectation of being average. After dinner dancing and relaxing in a nice club would have been nice. We thought Galaxy would be that place, first night they had a nice band playing upbeat music but for some reason that was the only night. Games, karaoke, ballroom, jazz, reggae, etc. Guess management felt lots of change was entertaining. The other place to dance was Maharani's, what a horrible space that is. Like being in a dirty closet.
