Of all the cruise lines we’ve sailed on, we LOVE Princess the most. We’ve sailed with Princess 15 times, and this was our 3rd cruise on the Emerald Princess. Unfortunately, this cruise was nothing like we’ve ever experienced before because it has serious plumbing issues.

We didn’t have hot water in neither the shower nor sink for a day and a half. Each time we ran the cold water it would run brown for a few minutes before running clear. We started getting hot water (low pressure) in the shower by the evening of the 2nd day which would run brown for a few minutes. We were happy that both shower and sink were in full working order by day 3. But, went into a panic in the evening when the toilet didn’t flush. That was taken care of by the morning of day 4. However, the sink was leaking under the counter, and the lamp base on one of the nightstands gave off a vibrating electrical feeling (possible indication that it was poorly grounded).

Other passengers experienced toilet overflow which meant the big fans were blowing and drying out their accommodation, but were compensated with free laundry service; others did not have hot water & took their showers at the spa.

The best room ever. Complete privacy with just the ocean to greet you.

Port Reviews

Princess Cays

Walk the beach end to end & a little into its interior where mother nature shows off her beauty caribbean style.

Grand Turk

Beautiful. Go beyond the port where it's been untouched by commercialism.
