My first cruise and I did not want a bill after leaving the ship. Bought the all you can drink package and was still charged, several times for my drinks. Bought mom the beverages and more package, but was sad to find out the restrictions for that package only after on board. You must provide a credit card to board, they do not deny charges, as I had asked, but want to charge you for everything using your cruise card. They accept cash at the desk but not at individual points of purchase.

I was not bothered by he large number of children on board, the kids were well taken care of and out of site much of the time. They gave the children a nice stuffed penguin as a Christmas gift, while I was getting an unnecessary charge removed from my bill. Check your account regularly! They use deceptive language, gift credit, not a gift, it was MY money for prepaid tips. Took a day to figure that out. Room service 24 hours, yes if you want sandwiches, very limited room service menu, breakfast only in the morning with your door tag menu. Mini suite was nice, worst balcony as all above can look directly down to your balcony.

Food was voring but they tried to recycle and change things up. Very limited choices for ethnic flavors, restaurant service was good, minor waits wi anytime dining. Crown Grill upcharge of $25 was a nice change from the other options. Rough ride returning to San Francisco. Shows were nothing to write home about, but did entertain. Lectures are mainly sales pitches with limited information. Art auction was horrid, people bidding on lots with little to no descriptions. Please buy your art directly from artists.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Nice cabin, steward was good, no towel animals, took champagne glasses away before we got to use them. He must have been afraid we were going to steal them. Took a shower curtain to hang between areas to give some sleeping privacy, also helped to keep area's temperatures different, mom likes to sleep warm, I like it cool. Kept the curtain up with magnets. There were enough plugs, but we did take power strips to increases the number available.

San Francisco

Dropped the luggage off then rode the street car to the ship. Bucket list item.

Puerto Vallarta

Lovely ride into the port as the sun rose.

Mazatlan

Took street tour for $25 for the 3 of us, in a private open coach
