Cabin: Balcony

This was our first cruise which we chose because we wanted to relax. All in all, it didn't disappoint. We certainly spent a lot of time reading, partly due to the fact that the daytime activities didn't appeal to us - fruit and vegetable carving demonstrations and talks about hand gun collections weren't up there on our 'must see' list! The night time entertainment was better, but maybe more aimed at the older folk on board.

The food was excellent, as long as you timed your visit to the buffet to miss the crowds. We were very happy with the dining room meals, where there was good variety and flavour.

The staff were also very helpful, always looking to serve well. Only problem was they were obviously incentivised to up-sell to us, so we were often refusing tickets to art shows, wine tasting and coffee cards to the point when it became tedious.

Cabin Review

Balcony

The cabin clean and compact, particularly the bathroom. The paintwork on the balcony was a little rusty and things looked a bit 'tired'. We were surprisingly pleased with the amount of storage and found it easy to stow away all of our things.
