Sail Date: Nov 2015

I thoroughly enjoyed my first cruise on the Norwegian Pearl in November 2015. The variety and amount of food was never ending and very good. My favorite dessert was their vanilla bread pudding with the caramel sauce. It was to die for! They could have served it every night for me anyway.

The entertainment was good for the most part and the entertainment director was excellent. Two of my sisters and my eldest daughter were with me and we had two adjoining cabins with a door in between which was very convenient. We also each had a balcony and you could find me there early in the morning just sitting and listening to the sea. It was so relaxing to read a book or just contemplate life.

We didn't go on many excursions as they were quite expensive but we enjoyed the ports and shopping there. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go on another cruise again any time! They placed a little too much emphasis on diamonds however.

Port Reviews

Banana Coast (Trujillo)

Excellent Tour guide was great and he certainly knew the country.

Miami

Miami is a huge city and the skyline is beautiful

Colon (Cristobal)

The lighthouse here was so close to the Gatun Lochs you could almost touch it. Beautiful countryside and lush hills.

Puerto Limon

Not a whole lot of variety shopping at this port.
