Traveled with children

I had cruised as a kid in the 70's and 80's but had not experienced any of these new cruise liners, I chose RC Radiance Of The Seas because it looked impressive, it was larger than Rhapsody of The Seas plus I had heard that P&O were sub standard. Royal Caribbean was definitely the right choice.

We sailed during school holidays as my children were 17 and 18 at the time. Better If you can avoid school holidays as too many kids can spoil things because all the free activities are always taken. If you have young children then school holidays is ideal because they really look after the kids. A third of all passengers were children, I was told it was a record.

The Ship was well maintained and absolutely beautiful. Can't fault it. We booked two balcony staterooms on deck 9, the cabins were spacious and bathrooms surprisingly larger than expected.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Very nice. No evidence of wear or neglect. Spacious compared to Oriana (1984).

Good size balcony, loved the king bed, very comfortable and I'm picky when it comes to beds. Room service excellent
