Sail Date: Nov 2015
Cabin: Interior Stateroom

We had an inside stateroom but this was smart and comfortable. Our Cruise took in two locations in New Zealand, two locations in New Caledonia, and a final stop at Mystery Island. This was a five location, fourteen night cruise resulting in a lot of sea time. Therefore it was vital that the ship had a lot to offer in terms of activities and facilities. Overall this challenge was met. The evening entertainment was generally very good but the daytime lectures were poor. The food was good overall and very good to excellent in the formal dining room. The service was the ‘stand out’ feature of our time aboard. All the crew/staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

We would go with this ship again.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

Not a large cabin but well appointed comfortable and excellently maintained and cleaned.

Port Reviews

Auckland

We took the city's Hop-on Hop-off bus and saw the most of what could been seen in a day.

Noumea

Not a very attractive town. Service in the restraunts was offhand and, even though there were a shipload of potential customers in the area, they closed at 2pm.

Isle of Pines (New Caledonia)

Very idealic Very beautiful island with sandy beaches and good snorkelling. We took a bus tour which was OK but no more. Very little, in the way of food and drink, on offer.

Mystery Island

This was a very small beautiful island with beaches of fine golden sand that gently slope into clear blue water. Heavenly!
