This was our fourth Royal Caribbean cruise. We had read the many Tripadvisor comments prior to travel and wondered what we were in for. Right from the dock mobile check in everything went smoothly. Our checker was amazing and the eight of us were done in 15 minutes. We enjoyed the food, tried many restaurants including complementary and pay. My personal favourite, for both food and service was Devinly Decadent. We were there through the entire meal cycle over different days b-l-d. Cabin was adequate and always clean and ready. Would have liked more seasonal music over the PA as this was a Christmas cruise.

Personally I do not like the dynamic dining concept and the inability to book meal times prior to the cruise. With some fast footwork on board, we were able to obtain our preferred timing at the places we wanted and that fit our schedule. Dining service was always high quality. Staff were excellent everywhere.

There was plenty of opportunity to spend money at the shops. But exercising discipline for unneeded items doesn't cost you a dime. If you don't want it, don't buy it and don't complain if you do buy.
