Overall, the spirit was definitely my least favorite ncl cruise, though i still enjoyed myself.

One thing i really liked was the asian decor. very different feel than the other ships, which i love but find to be basically similar in style. The staff were nice, as always waiters very helpful as was room steward and bartenders. I liked that the ship never felt crowded, even though it was pretty full they said. I don't like thta on the bigger ships you can't find a pool chair unless you are there early. I love the eastern ports, tortola being a favorite. i don't know why we couldn't dock at st. thomas. thought maybe only certain # of ships but then saw one dock after we were there. i don't mind the tendering but it is a bit of a pain. Thought the food was good and loved the teppanyaki. the cabin was nice, an oceanview.

Why it wasn't favorite- too small with no enough activities. had a couple of rainy days and there was not much to do. every other ship i've been on offers much more during the day. i did like they had a daily movie. the entertainment/cruise directors didn't seem very involved. usually there is a lot of enthusiasm and that was lacking. Entertainment was very limited. one theater and the shows were so-so. unlike other ships i've been on (not just large but dawn, jewel), there was no comedy club. the lounge/bar musicians were not very good at all. there are not enough spaces to go for quiet reading.
