I'm a first time cruiser and had a great experience on Carnival Glory. There was so much to get involved in ... truly something for everyone. We took advantage of Bingo, Trivia, comedy club, musical shows, shopping and activities on the Lido deck. All of the entertainment was top notch.

The ship was well maintained, clean, easy to navigate and very indulgent. The food was great - we especially enjoyed Guy's Burger Joint and the Blue Iguana Mexican cantina. The buffet and dining room were great to switch back & forth from. We did My Time Dining and never had to wait long for a table. Waiting 5-10 minutes was worth the flexibility.

We stopped at Belize and Grand Cayman (which were both tender ports) and Cozumel and Roatan. It was fairly disorganized getting off the boat which I did not appreciate. I'm not sure if this is different than other boats but if you hand out tender stickers - enforce the order in which people are boarding the tenders! All employees need to be firm and on the same page. One day of enforcing the rules makes for a more organized and enjoyable time for everyone.

Cabin 6A

The cabin reminded me of an RV. Long and narrow but spacious and well organized. It was cleaned meticulously. Great water pressure in the shower. Great closet and drawer space. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was a cozy space for the week. Great view out of the second floor window. The port hole was large and I loved sitting in it and looking outside. I do not think it is worth the extra money to upgrade to a Balcony suite.

Port Reviews

Miami

We stayed at The Hall South Beach the night before our cruise. An AMAZING hotel. Treated like royalty. We walked along the beach and shopped a bit. We went to a Miami Heat game at American Airlines Arena & really enjoyed ourselves.

Roatan

We took a taxi to West Bay Beach & had the absolute best day!!!! We snorkelled in front of Infinity Bay Resort and it was the best snorkelling I've ever seen. A live coral jungle of mazes and beautiful fish and sea life. We saw a king crab, an uncountable amount of fish species, nemos, crabs, a reef octopus ... seriously the best day. Just pay $10 for chairs and security at Bananarama and enjoy the day at West Bay Beach. You can do anything here - snorkel, SUP, parasail, anything you want. There is great food and drinks as well at very reasonable prices. I can't wait to return to Roatan.

Cozumel

Spent the day on a beach. Had access to free food & drinks. Waterslide. Hot Tub. Entertainment Team. Huge inflatable jungle gym in the ocean. An okay day - the beach just doesn't compare after visiting Roatan and Grand Cayman.
