This was an excellent cruise. Right from start check in was a breeze. Room very nice and clean and our steward was very polite and always ready to help.

We have traditional dining at 5.45pm as we prefer this as it gives us time after dinner to do what we want. Food was very good and the waiters assigned to us were very good. Always happy to bring us something special and a little extra. Ignition and Adit were great.

The band on board this ship Evolution is a great band with a lot of variety in their music to suit and please both young and old. The lead singers were very good with a very wide repertoire of songs. We danced many a night away with them and you could even ask for requests. The shows were good but we did not go to all of them. I am a singer so I enjoyed the karaoke sessions although the choice of songs was dismal to say the least. They have changed form a book where you could choose your songs by title of by name. Now it is on a tablet and more than 75% of the songs are missing. So it was very hard to pick some nice songs. But it was still fun.

Port Reviews

Lifou

Went on shore on tender and walked around the main area for a couple of hours and also walked for a while on the beach. Then went back to the ship for the afternoon.

Port Vila

Took a bus to the city and walked around the market and some of the shops. Very interesting products in the market. Did not buy any products as most are made of wood and plants and are not allowed into Australia.

Port Denarau

Very good insight in the island lifestyle of the inhabitants.

Suva

Took the shuttle to the city and then walked around the city and had a look around then after 3 hours walked back to the ship and spent afternoon on board.

Dravuni Island

This is a typical tropical island with no commercial roads and traffic. Life moves on very quietly although for the 200 inhabitants we must have looked like an invading mob. They were most welcoming and sold their wares. I had a coconut and also tried their sweet pineapple and mango. Delicious. Walked on the beach. Then went back to the ship in the afternoon.

Noumea

Good way on of seeing the city which is very clean and very pretty. As the weather was beautiful this made for a special trip.

We did the 1.00pm and it was great. The views from the top of the hills were spectacular. This is a place I could come back to visit for a longer period of time.
