We have been on the Magic out of Galveston 3 times now. We had FTTF and it was very disorganized, surprise us really as when we have had it before there was an area for us to wait in, but this time you just waited with everyone else. they called for FTTF and everyone stood up. Then you had to go around the people that were standing waiting without FTTF being turned away. Maybe it was this way because they are doing the new embarkation time? They need to improve on that. Getting off was much worse. One time we had FTTF and got off the ship and in our car by 8:30, this time it was 10:00, even the porters said it was bad?

I know others have complained about the food and we loved it. We do ask the waiter what is good that night and they always came through with the best suggestions. Maybe others need to ask what is recommended more? We are foodies, watch the cooking channels, have dinner parties, do the chef's table and the steak house sort of people. So not sure why complaints about the food, did not make sense to us.

We were upgraded to a spa balcony the week before sailing and it was wonderful. Love the whole spa experience. The cycle class they offer was a real workout. I knew the guy was serious when he asked me if I had different shoes, LOL and then told me to get them! I did and glad for it. We went to the Red Frog Pub everyday around 3:00. We usually only make it once or twice a cruise, but enjoyed the bartenders so much and kept meeting up with new friends in there. We hung out in serenity a lot of our time when not in spa, so the enrichment activities and entertainment, we can't comment on. the only reason I did not give dining 5 points was we had your time dining and wanted to sit with new people each night, but instead it was just the 2 of us, which was fine, but on other cruises they ask us if we would like to be seated at a larger table..........they never asked. Food was good. We went to the Steak House every night for a drink before dinner and enjoyed the wine they served better than you can get in the dining room.
