This was our third cruise. Two have been with Norwegian and one with Royal Caribbean. I have to say that I prefer the service we get on Norwegian. The ship staff is friendly, helpful and plentiful. When we went on RC, I felt like we were always looking for someone to help or wait on us.
We were a disappointed with the Norwegian Sky, but it was a lesson through experience. I learned that the shorter cruises use smaller ships and the Sky is one of the smaller ships. Our cabin on the Sky was much smaller then when we sailed the Pearl four years ago.
As always, the food on this trip was fantastic. Two dinners in Norwegian's Italian Restaurant and two in the steak house did not disappoint.
Clean, small.
Stayed at the Intercontinental the night before. Not a bad place, especially using ponts. Fratelli Milano restaurant was great for dinner.
Spent a few hours on the island. The beach and the water was nice.
Disappointed that Norwegian did not let us know that we would be here the day after a holiday. Most of the shops did not open until after 12 noon. Went to the distillery which was fun and stopped at Graycliff for cigars and chocolates. That was worth the trip.
A waste of money. The caves were glorified holes in the ground. Book your own transportation to Gold Rock Beach. An absolute gem.
