We returned from the 5 December, 2015 sailing of the Escape and loved it. We are a family of 5 including 3 boys 11, 8 and 6. We were traveling with my parents and sisters family. Check-in was quick, we waited about 15 minutes to get through the line but we were there around 1130am. Once checked in we were able to board the ship but the cabin wasn't ready. We loved the cabin, there was ample closet space and I was able to put two large suitcases under our bed. The bathroom was a great size but the ceilings were low so if you're tall good luck. We were on deck 9 which was above the waterfront so there was an awning around and I felt a lot safer with a balcony with kids. Although we had 3 kids and the cabin sleeps only 4, we had registered one with my parents but ended up with the 3 kids in the cabin with us. Two little ones shared the bottom bunk and the 11 year old liked the top bunk. Activities for the kids were plentiful including the zip line, mini golf, water park, splash academy etc. the kids loved eating at the buffet the garden cafe where they could pick their own meals. I found the food there to be pretty good with a great variety. Hubby and I ate at taste one night One of the free restaurants and it was good. He got lobster and paid a $25 surcharge for it. Drinks and service was good. Our room attendant was inconsistent, sometimes he'd leave ice, sometimes not, sometimes he'd stock the mini fridge other times not for a few days etc. loved all the ports. Especially loved Tortola and a trip to soggy dollar. I could go on forever but I recommend the escape, I'd book it again in a second. Friendly staff, beautiful ship, great drinks and a fun family trip.

Cabin Review

Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M2

Loved the cabin, plenty of room for an active family. Kids loved the Guy Harvey Chanel to learn about the sea but it was like 6 documentaries on loop for a week. Everything about the cabin was great. My parents had a regular balcony cabin by us and the main difference was the size of our bathroom which included a tub. Room had ample storage space, tv was located well, mini bar, hair dryer etc
