We spent the night before the cruise at the Hampton Inn in Coconut Creek, FL (about 20 min from the pier). Parked the car at the Park n Go (Fantastic service), boarded about 1030 with no issues. Luggage was in our room (3522) at about 1:20. We'd heard it would be around 1 PM, but didn't really believe it!!

The Serenade is an older ship, but she is very well maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed being aboard her.

We had lunch at the Windjammer - very nice, good service that day. We found the food to be generally very good at the Windjammer for breakfast, lunch and dinner (more about that later), but as the week went by the service was poor. Either the staff tried to take our plates while we were still eating or they were left in a pile as people finished and left their seats. A couple of times, the waiter (s) told my husband to go to a bar for my glass of wine because the Windjammer didn't stock the one I asked for. That's not how to provide Wow customer service.

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

Wonderful, no complaints!

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Nice, clean, very friendly cruise personnel

Aruba

Not my favorite island, pretty commercialized. No problems with solicitation as we walked around.

Bonaire

Beautiful, laid back, nice people, good shopping, smaller stores. What the Caribbean used to be. I'd go back there to stay!

Curacao

Looks just like the pictures, it's beautiful. We had fun walking around and finding the history of the island. Again, for me I'd love to stay for a week!

Key West

we've been to Key West several times...had lunch at the Roof Top cafe - great conch fritters! Key West is just so much fun!
